Do you have an old yoyo toy lying around? Decided to "remember youth"? Or don’t you know about such a thing? Then let's learn the rules of the game and go ahead - rotate the devil on a rope. The first mention of this toy can be found in books on ancient history. This is about 2500 years ago. Incredibly, even today the mention of yo-yo confuses our grandmothers. The Ч »ком вер вер Нап» »’ ’was used by such famous historical figures as Nicholas II and Napoleon. The toy helped to hold hands, calm down and gather thoughts.
The modern purpose of yo-yo has changed. Now it is a game, entertainment and even sports. Every year in the USA (the birthplace of yoyo), Russia, countries of Europe and Asia, yoyo competitions are held. Competitions are combined with freestyle contests on skateboards and bmx. The masters twist the toy themselves called yo-yorera.
Ooh, how to rotate yoyoy?
There are only four styles of play. The most popular and competitive string. The rope is fixed on the finger, and the yo-yo itself balances at the end of the skein. To do this, use a classic toy with a quality bearing. The length of the rope is from the belt to the ankle of the yo-yorera.
Freehand - when it is performed, the rope is not attached to the finger. To play such a yo-yo, you need not a standard, but a large version. The diameter of the yo-yo disk in this style is about 20 cm. In the sophisticated offstring (the so-called torsion method), the rope is not attached to the wheel at all.
Looping - Yo-yo movement along a certain trajectory without returning to the hand. In this style they play with one or two toys.
If you start to turn the wheel now, you can show off your craftsmanship on the “yo-yo day”, which will be celebrated in Moscow on June 6.
Instructions for beginners
You should start with the technology of the correct winding of the rope. Take the thread in your left hand and make one revolution so that the rope passes around your finger. After that, remove your finger and make four free turns. After that, wind the rope just like a reel.
Bend your arm at the elbow at eye level. Now sharply push yo-yo down the rope and throw your hand back on yourself. If everything is done correctly, the yo-yo will return to the hand. Magic? Physics!
A trick called a star can help you learn to play yo-yo.
The yo-yo should be thrown to the side and put the index finger on your left hand in front of you so that the yo-yo wraps around the finger and returns to the rope. This trick is used as the basis for many other, more complex, tricks.
With the thumb on the left hand, it grabs the rope, and the thumb on the right hand pulls one of the two parts of the ropes that are wound on the index finger on the left hand. At the end of the manipulations, you will get a figure that resembles a star.
